The magic of marriage

Love and friendship are gifts most commonly bestowed upon those who forget themselves and reach out to others.

Dear friends, it feels so good to be back after a break; I was busy with a wedding in the family. Though I missed writing and interacting with you, it was an amazing feeling to meet and entertain family and friends, with a house full of people, some of them you’ve grown up with, disagreed with and enjoyed with.
Weddings are one of the few occasions when we get to meet the extended families who we haven’t seen for years and also build new relationships, not to mention renewing broken and forgotten relationships. Of course, technology and social media are always there to help keep in touch, but I’m sure you’ll agree, there’s nothing like personally meeting someone and getting a warm hug.
A marriage not only brings together two people but also their families, extended families and even friends and their families. It is bigger than any conference or seminar where you get to meet people on a large scale! A marriage opens up a whole new world of lovely relationships.
The festive mood of a marriage has the power to mend broken hearts and soured relationships. The happiness and positive vibes that flow in a marriage benefit everyone in the vicinity. It’s a great opportunity to forget differences and disputes, settle those ego clashes, forgive mistakes of the past and join hands in blessing the couple with a big heart and a beautiful smile!
Do you agree with me? What are your thoughts on marriages? Please share…

  1. First of all, congrats and many blessings… I always tell my friends that I miss the days of being single sometimes but marriage life in general is more lovely. I wonder how I was living before it… My daughter has the big share here

    1. Thank you 🙂 Every married person will agree that marriages are magical and unforgettable, in spite of all the squabbles and stress we go through!
