A delicious recipe for fish cutlets without potato, flour, or breadcrumbs- all these are replaced by a single ingredient!

For the seasoning mix, heat oil & saute onions

Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 5 miniutes.

Add tomatoes and saute for 5 more minutes.

Add chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix!

Saute until the mixture is well cooked and mashed.

Boil fish in salted water. Quick note: Use any fish for this recipe: mackerel/salmon/tilapia/cod/sardine all work well.

Remove skin and bones. Mash with a fork.

Add onion-tomato mixture, ground oats, egg and coriander leaves to the mashed fish.

Mix well to make a uniform mixture!

Make about 15 to 20 lime-sized balls and shape them into patties.

Shallow fry the spicy fish cutlets in batches.

Make cashew-yogurt dip with yogurt, lemon juice, crushed cashews, coriander leaves, salt and pepper.
