Minced Chicken Stir fry

This Thai-style stir fry with ground chicken  is an easy and delicious dinner you can make on busy weeknights.

Minced chicken stir fry is for days when you don’t want to spend too much time in the kitchen, yet eat a sumptuous chicken dinner!

Chop the boneless chicken breasts into chunks and mince using a food processor.

Step 1: Make ground chicken

If you don't have a food processor, use a sharp knife. Slice the chicken lengthwise first. Then slice them again into strips.

 After that, mince the strips using the knife. This way you’ll get minced chicken similar to the one made with a food processor.

Roughly chop chilies and garlic and crush using a mortar and pestle

Step 2: Make  Chili Garlic Paste

Add dark and light soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, palm sugar and water in a bowl.

Step 3: Make sauce

Stir fry the crushed garlic and chilies until you get a nice aroma. (Wish you could smell this!)

Step 4: Stir fry

Add the minced chicken, increase the flame to high and stir fry until it changes white in colour.

Add finely chopped onion to the stir-fried chicken.  Stir fry on high flame until the onions turn translucent.

Add the prepared stir fry sauce. Keep stirring and cook until the sauce thickens and you get the desired consistency.

Turn off the flame.  Garnish with finely chopped spring onions. Serve the ground chicken stir fry with steamed rice.
