Smoothie ingredients
Mango
Who doesn’t love mangoes?
Mangoes are natural sweeteners. They are so magical that they can enhance the taste of any dish, be it a smoothie, salsa or salad. Or heavenly, when just eaten on its own.
Or try it on salsa as the mango salsa served with paprika salmon.
Did you try the Indian fruit salad with mango? You’ll realize how even half a mango can enhance the taste and texture of a dish.
Avocado
This is the healthy ingredient that gives a delicious creaminess to this mango smoothie.
Avocado, with its smooth texture, can make anything creamy when blended. Avocados improve your overall health. They are loaded with nutrients, antioxidants, fiber and healthy fats. They can reduce cholesterol levels and triglycerides.
I came up with this easy recipe for mango avocado smoothie out of sheer necessity.
Frankly speaking, avocado used to be the least favorite fruit of my family ( count me out!). But knowing its health benefits, I can’t resist buying it and eventually making something that the family can’t resist.
I make no-tomato guacamole, and the 5-minute spicy avocado chutney quite often and we all love it. But this mango and avocado smoothie is ALWAYS a winner! Whenever I buy avocados, I buy at least 5 or 6, use some to make this smoothie and make the yummy pineapple avocado salsa with the rest.
Grapes
The third ingredient in the healthy mango smoothie. It is a great way to make mango avocado smoothie SWEETER without adding sugar. Grapes also add a nice color and interesting texture. Use red grapes to get the best flavor.
How to make avocado mango smoothie without yogurt
Blend all three fruits with water and a handful of crushed ice cubes in a food processor or blender until very smooth. You will need a high-speed blender for a creamier texture.
You can also skip the ice and chill the smoothie for about half an hour. Yet another option is to use frozen mangoes instead of fresh fruit.
This bright-yellow sunshine avocado mango smoothie with little red specks is sure to perk up your mood and ensure you have a great day!
Variations of dairy free mango smoothie
This easy mango and avocado smoothie tastes amazing as is. You can make some small changes for variation. Choose the perfect smoothie you like out of these options:
Avocado mango smoothie bowl
Make a quick breakfast out of this smoothie:
Reduce the amount of ice cubes to make a thicker smoothie. Serve it in a bowl with mango chunks and slivered almonds.
You can top it up with fresh pineapple, berries or peaches, too. Extra servings of fruit will increase the nutritional value of this nutrient rich smoothie bowl.
Mango vanilla smoothie
Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence when you blend the smoothie.
Mango avocado protein smoothie
Add 1 scoop of whey protein powder and 2-3 tablespoons of water while blending.
Mango coconut smoothie
Add 1/4 cup of coconut milk for a perfect refreshing drink. If you don’t like thick smoothies, use coconut water, orange juice or fresh lime juice to thin it down.
Mango protein smoothie without protein powder
Soak about 15 almonds in hot water for 10 minutes, peel and add before blending. Add coconut water or fruit juice as necessary, depending on whether you want a thinner smoothie.

Is there any chance I can do it without avacado but still have it like that
Avocado makes the smoothie thick and creamy. Without avocado, the smoothie will turn out watery. If you don’t have them, you can use bananas.
How is it possible to only have 2 grams of fat when this recipe uses a whole avocado?
